MERA PAEK (6460M)
Mera and Island Peaks are famous climbing Peaks of Nepal and they lies in the Khumbu region. This is one of the most adventours, interesting and most challenging trek where you can climb two Peaks passing through Amphu Labsta and both peaks are more than 6000m. We climb Mera Peak (6460m), which is the highest trekking peak of Nepal and Island peak (6189m) via Amphu Labsta Pass (5780m). Mera and Island Peaks both are popular trekking Peaks of Nepal. First of all our destination is to climb Mera Peak, walking a head we reach in the sacred lake Panch Pokhari and from there our trail goes towards Amphu Labsta and drop down into Island Peak (Imja- Tsa). This trek facilate you to acclimatize in high altitude for further high elevation climb. This trek is one of the most challenging climbing mountains of Nepal but the scenery is very beautiful and breathtaking and you can also take beautiful photos. On the first days of trekking we have to continue our trek passing through Rhododendron and pine forests.
Mera Peak (6460m) is the Nepal's highest permitted trekking peak, located in Makalu Barun National Park, rises to the south of Everest and dominates the cut- between the wild and heavily wooded valleys of the Hinku. The trial goes through the pristine Rhododendron, oak, silver fir, birch and Jennifer’s forest. On the way you can see Mere Glacier and beautiful alpine lake. Beside this Mera Peak is famous for the nice and breathtaking view of different mountains. We can also see the beautiful Langtang valley from the west part of
Mera Peak
Amphu Labsta (5780m) is
the second destination of our trek. Amphu Labsta is more technical comparing to
Mera Peak. For passing through Amphu Labsta, first of all we have to fixed line
in the ice steps and by the help of rope then we have to go towards the fixed
line, which will be safe for us for passing Amphu Labsta. Amphu Labsta Pass is
challenging trek.
Island Peak is our last
destination for this trek. It is also one of the most Climbed Peak of Nepal. It
is located in the upper Imja Valley of the Khumbu, surrounded by Himalaya.
Observing from above Dingboche the mountain has really the same appearance as
an island in a sea of ice. Peak offers very beautiful outlook in the Khumbu
(Everest area). The summit of Island Peak stands nearby to the South Face of
Lhotse, one of the world’s largest ice walls, and offers stunning views of
beautiful Ama Dablam and Makalu.
Other than this, this
trek offers you the complete package for adventours climbing which inhance your
ability to climb in high altitude. Both Mera Peak and Island Peak are mostly
climbing Peak of Nepal and it also consists of technical pass Amphu Labsta
safeguarded by a fixed line to reach. So, this trek helps you to trek in more
technical peak. It is one of the most challenging mountain treks of having
breath-taking scenery. The main advantage point of this trek is you can climb
mostly climbing peaks of Nepal, Mera and Island Peak passing through Amphu
Labsta.

Trekking In Nepal
Trekking is another word for walking. The treks are focused in Annapurna, Everest, Langtang, Rolwaling, and restricted areas such as Dolpo, mysterious Mustang, Jumla ( Rara Lake ), Kanchenjunga, Makalu and Arun Valley , Manaslu and Larkeya - La Pass and many new discovered unbeaten trails. However, the word trekking has become more well known for the kind of walking which takes you along trails winding up, down, over and around mountains. Trekking is not mountaineering although some of the popular trails are used by mountaineering expeditions to get to their base camps. Most of the trails you will walk on are still used predominantly by Nepali people for everyday travel and trade. It is not uncommon to be passed along the way by a Nepali porter carrying lengths of corrugated roofing iron slung from a jute strap (namlo) around the head or a sick relative being carried in a basket (doko) in the same manner to the nearest medical facility.
